I just built automake from CVS and ran the tests, and the following ones failed. Having never built (or used) automake before, I don't know how serious this is -- but my search of the mailing list revealed that 1.5 is going to come out very soon, so I figured I should report it.lex3 distname pr9 pr87 subobj5 subobj6 subdir5This is on cygwin-1.3.2, perl-5.6.1 ( I used the buildscript below -- which I run from /usr/src/automake/obj/ . The source from CVS is in /usr/src/automake/automake.
Hmmm---this report ^^^^ was done using autoconf-2.13, and the subdir5 failure was "Xpected" (so *that's* what "XFAIL" means).
So, after building and installing autoconf-2.52, I get the following report: ccnoco (already reported on other platforms) lex3 libtool2 pr9 pr87 and an unexpected pass: XPASS: subdir5.Again, this is on cygwin-1.3.2, perl-5.6.1, autoconf-2.52, automake (from CVS).
Hope this helps. --Chuck
