Hello all
An oddity with 1.5d, probably also with 1.6
In m4/missing.m4:
AC_DEFUN([AM_MISSING_PROG],
[AC_REQUIRE([AM_MISSING_HAS_RUN])
$1=${$1-"${am_missing_run}$2"}
AC_SUBST($1)])
In m4/init.m4:
AM_MISSING_PROG(AUTOMAKE, "automake-${am__api_version}")
The result is that in configure (and it doesn't seem to be autoconf's fault)
I have this:
AUTOMAKE=${AUTOMAKE-"${am_missing_run}"automake-${am__api_version}""}
Now this works fine when I use "bash2 ./configure", but not without bash2.
$ rpm -q bash bash2
bash-1.14.7-16
bash2-2.03-6
Vanilla "./configure" produces this in the Makefile:
AUTOMAKE = ${SHELL} /usr/src/home/wallace/missing --run
whereas with bash2 the automake-1.5d appears correctly after --run.
Surely the fix can't be as simple as this?
