Beaware that on the Mac OS that /usr/bin/libtool is NOT gnu libtool.
You can find GNU libtool at /usr/bin/glibtool If your build has
required running libtoolize, then you want to run glibtoolize instead.
Otherwise, it appears the autotool run on the Mac like any other UNIX
like platform.
