Not true. The config.status file only includes information produced by configure, and does not at all represent how the various build data sources were put together by the makefiles to build a particular object or library.

hmm - for _that_, you don't get the information in any case unless
you solicit information from the user.

(by the way, you might consider fixing the -Wshadow warnings in your program)
