Those automake variables, where primaries and prefixes specifying installation
destination are used.
I see the source of knowledge I use is it where mentioned terms have been
introduced/used.

I've never heard these terms before and don't know what they mean. Can
you please explain what these terms mean and what you expected the
automake manual to have to say about them?
