This is what causes test 33 to fail. It checks for OBJEXT before
testing whether the compiler works, and the OBJEXT test fails.
This is a known problem that will have to be resolved before release.

Oddly enough, having the OBJEXT failure exit with code 77 does not seem
to placate the test, although it checks for return code 77 to determine
success.
