I'm not looking for a means to detect it by its ID, rather, I'm just
looking for it name for documentation purposes.  Rest assured, it's
extremely easy to detect this kind of failure.

As a matter of fact, it's frightening to see Autoconf can generate
tests that make no step.  I really thought this area was robust to
such failures.
