Well, I have no clue :(  Here is what I'd like you to do, if you
happen to have some spare time:

        ./testsuite -d -v -x 26
        cd testsuite.dir/026
        cat config.cache
        cat file
        sh -x ./configure --config-cache

I hope this will help me understand.
