ntop-2.1.54 - errors during configure/compile on Solaris 8 (64bit) Sun Ultra2

I am trying to compile ntop-2.1.54 source on a Sun Ultra2 running Solaris8 (64bit).  I get the below errors.  at the end of the configure script, these are the only errors I have.  is this really a bug or more likely am I doing something wrong?  any assistance you can provide is awesome, I'm sure you have quite a bit of these emails to look at..
