Hi,

When trying to compile GNU Octave 2.1.44 (with gcc 3.2.1) on a SGI
workstation under IRIX64 6.5, configure gives this message :

configure: WARNING: assert.h: present but cannot be compiled
configure: WARNING: assert.h: check for missing prerequisite headers?
configure: WARNING: assert.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's result
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##
configure: WARNING: ## Report this to address@hidden ##
configure: WARNING: ## ------------------------------------ ##

and the same message for the following header files :
dlfcn.h, sys/select.h, ieeefp.h, limits.h, nan.h, poll.h, sys/poll.h,
varargs.h, sys/utsname.h, fnmatch.h.

Can I go on with the installation?
Thanks.
JH
