Perhaps, but autoconf can't know where the header comes from,
so all it can suggest is contacting the people maintaining the
package being built. They can then opt for contacting the
people responsible for the header (but that would only solve
the problem for future releases of that header, not for the
current install base) and/or update their configure script
so it does The Right Thing(tm) in both cases.
