autoconf, automake, etc run on SuSE 8.1 Gnu/Linux, Intel Pentium:
No warnings from autoconf, etc.
$ autoconf -V
autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.55

'configure' on SuSE 7.1 Gnu/Linux, Intel Pentium.
Subsequent 'make' proceeds correctly with no warnings.
Header files attached.
