Need some clarification

Hello All

        I am using dante 1.1.14 on HPUX (11.23), I got some waning message while
configuring the source.

# ./configure --prefix=/opt/dante
...........................
...........................
checking netinet/ip_var.h presence... yes
configure: WARNING: netinet/ip_var.h: present but cannot be compiled
configure: WARNING: netinet/ip_var.h: check for missing prerequisite
headers?
configure: WARNING: netinet/ip_var.h: proceeding with the preprocessor's
result

But I didnt get any compile or runtaime time error. I need the reason and meaning for the above WARNIG message.
