The trigger of this error is libtool-1.5.6. I.e. downgrading libtool
might be an option to work-around this issue.
However, I am not sure if libtool-1.5.6 is the actual origin of this
problem. IIRC, recently a bug in autoconf had been fixed, which might
be related to this problem. So, trying cvs autoconf also might be worth
it.
