Hi all,
I met a problem when I tried to install autoconf on Solaris. I downloaded
autoconf-2.13.tar.gz from http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/autoconf/, then I followed
the steps below to install it:
1) configure
/uhome/lingjie/autoconf-2.13>./configure
loading cache ./config.cache
checking for gm4... (cached) /opt/swe/bin/gm4
checking for mawk... (cached) nawk
checking for perl... (cached) /opt/swe/tools/ext/gnu/perl-5.6.0_p1/bin/perl
checking for a BSD compatible install... ./install-sh -c
creating ./config.status
creating Makefile
creating testsuite/Makefile
It seems OK.
2) make
/uhome/lingjie/autoconf-2.13>make
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `autoconf.m4f'
Unfortunately, a error occured...and I haven't found a way to solve
it.Anyone who can give me a hand?
Thanks a lot
Lingjie
