My hang problem only affects Fedora/RedHat users. Debian and FreeBSD
users don't seem to see the problem.
My system is:

Linux version 2.6.14-1.1637_FC4 (address@hidden)

Problem has been consistent over the last 2 weeks or so. Have gone
through several cvs update's to check whether some change may have fixed
things, but no luck as yet.
