From: Aravindan Veerasamy
Subject: Bug report: configure handling winsock2.h
Date: Thu, 22 Dec 2005 14:17:16 -0500
User-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511

Hi,
I was installing lame and ran into the following bug, and am reporting it as indicated by the message below.
I have attached the following files:
- C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VC98\Include\WINSOCK2.H
- C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VC98\Include\WINSOCK.H
- my environment variables
- the complete output of the configure run

I am using cygwin under a Win2k machine.
I have gcc, VisualStudio 6 and VisualStudio.Net installed on my machine.
