I have now updated to the latest bash 3.1 and glibc 2.4.
(BTW; I can't compile cvs autoconf with autoconf 2.59, I get 3 errors about
missing macros, detecting M4 >= 1.4 is one of them.)
So I recompiled and installed autoconf 2.59c.
-Recompiled libtool-1.5.22. same old "linux gnu" whitespace problem in the
Makefile.
So then I compiled the latest cvs autoconf with your patch using 2.59c
-Recompiled libtool-1.5.22. whitespace problem is fixed, makefile contains
"linux-gnu". That's the only difference between the two libtool makefiles.
Thaks for the quick patch.
