Thanks for the report. However, autoconf does not provide
GP_CHECK_LIBRARY. You will need to find out which package provides it,
and forward this bug report to them.
That said, it seems like autoconf might usefully provide
AS_VERSION_COMPARE, a shell-code analog to the existing m4-expansion-time
m4_version_compare. Anyone care to write a patch along those lines?
