I'm observing a couple of issues with the AC_PATH_X(TRA) macros when
using MacPorts Autoconf 2.61 (on Mac OS X 10.5.2). It seems these could
very possibly be upstream issues, so I thought I'd mention them here.
I've observed two distinct, but related, issues:
1. The shell variable x_includes doesn't get set, even though no_x is
not set to "yes" and the compiler does not know about the requisite
directory (/usr/X11R6/include). I have filed this in MacPorts' bug
tracker: <http://trac.macports.org/projects/macports/ticket/12884>
2. If I pass --x-includes to configure, x_includes *does* get set;
however, no corresponding -I flag is added to X_CFLAGS.
