Thanks for the report.  Stock m4 1.4.5 has some known bugs that
interfere with proper autoconf operation, so I have to assume that the
CentOS m4 has some vendor-specific patches that backported fixes for
those bugs from a later m4 for you to even be able to get that far in
your tests.

Meanwhile, your sole test failure was on:

203. autotest.at:1494: testing parallel syntax error ...

which is a known weakness in the testsuite (that is, the test is prone
to spurious failures, depending on race conditions present in your
system), and does not actually point to a bug in autoconf.
