Follow-up Comment #1, sr #110371 (project autoconf):
AFAIK, it is not the direct responsibility of autoreconf to install
config.guess/sub. I have used it countless times and it never did that, and I
wouldn't want it to, either. So it's probably automake or libtoolize doing
it. AFAICT, berkeleydb doesn't use automake, so it might be libtoolize.
Could it be that libtoolize is not being called correctly by autoreconf, or
it's just a problem within libtool?
