Problem in rc file

  I'm running bash 2.04 on Mandrake 8.0. I noticed this bug when i copied 
a .bash_profile to a .bashrc file without looking at it. Everytime i
launched a new terminal it would segfault. This could be dangerous if this
were to be placed in /etc/profile. Luckily i was able to log in as another
user and fix it.
        The crash occurs when you try to 'source' the current file into
itself. Here is an example, not very much to it
