This is the output of bash --version:
GNU bash, version 2.01.0(1)-release (alpha-dec-osf4.0)
If I try the command:
/usr> apropos process | grep memory
I get:
grep: can't open memory
Broken pipe
This works just fine in csh and sh, why doesn't this work for bash?
Thanks!

Any man whose errors take ten years to correct is quite a man.
