August 28, 2001: I have to retract the above statement. Although Mrs deDienes did, on April 22, 2000, give me specific written consent and approval of the deDienes gallery for this site, now she adamantly denies it and has demanded I remove those pics. It is sad to see someone losing their cognitive and recollective faculties due to old age but this is apparently what has happened. Out of respect to the memory of Marilyn we have voluntarily withdrawn the deDienes pics from this site rather than argue pointlessly over a lost cause, but I feel obligated to provide to you, the visitors to my site, this explanation for the absence of the Andre deDienes gallery from these pages.
