trapping conundrum

hello all,

I'm been trying to use the trap command to 'bullet proof' a script. It works
like a charm with the exception of ctrl-d, ctrl-s, and ctrl-q. I did 'kill -l'
to get the list of available signals and have tried trapping ALL of them.
These three commands continue to come through, however. Does anyone have any
suggestions?

Thanks,
Kevin

PS I'm running Debian 3.0 on an i386 platform.
