Release Status: release

Description:
I am using bash as my shell, and what an excellent shell it is! But, if I type
Control-s at the prompt it causes bash
to hang! The only way to get out of this is to kill the xterm that started bash!

Repeat-By:
Simply type Control-s at the prompt, it doesn't matter whether there have been
any previous commands typed or not.

Fix:
Not sure! My environment settings are pretty standard, I'm using CDE and xterm
and have tried seeing if typing an "stty
sane" makes any difference - it doesn't! I also do not have an ~/.inputrc
file that could be effecting readline.

Any help will be much appreciated as having to kill the shell is a pain!

Cheers,
Paul
