minor "bug" in GNU Bash-2.05a

I don't now if it fixed yet, but there is one an missleading errormsg
when trying to redirect:


# some-coobash: pms10.current.mysql: No such file or directoryl-command
> file.txt

if you don't have access to create file.txt, the error msg you get is:

bash: file.txt: No such file or directory

While most users would expect

bash: file.txt: Permissions denied
