~/.inputrc not obeyed in bash/2.05b

This bug affects bash/2.05b. Version 2.05 did not have this bug.

Put the following two lines in ~/.inputrc:

   set glob-complete-word off
   M-g: kill-word
When you run bash/2.05b, the M-g binding does not take effect. However, using C-xC-r after the shell is running *does* pick up the binding.
