Bad Steve, no donut. With patchlevel.h correctly modified as above, bash
reports the version as 2.05b.9(1)-release. Feel free to abuse me.
Without the mod above, building 2.05b with patches 1-9 applied, bash reports
the version as 2.05b.0(1)-release.
