Thanks for the report. This was fixed back in February as the result of
http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-bash/2017-02/msg00033.html.
The fix is in the bash devel git branch (commit
514049fa8e2404e9159d27e9b52f413b987c82e1) on savannah.gnu.org.
