ld static link problem

        Can you help my?

        I have a problem compiling static program,  for example

# > cat aa.c
main ()
{ }

# > gcc --static aa.c
/sw/gnu64b/bin/ld: a.out: Not enough room for program headers (allocated 5,

this is gcc and binutils info
