Ah I see.

This is undocumented. Section 3.10.1 of the manual:

"As in C, the linker considers an integer beginning with `0' to be octal,
and an integer beginning with `0x' or `0X' to be hexadecimal. The linker
considers other integers to be decimal."

I propose adding the sentence:

"Additionally, the linker accepts 'h', 'o', 'b' suffixes for hexadecimal,
octal or binary constants respectively."
