Subject: [Bug gold/10105] gold compilation failure on F11 x86-64 b/c of conflicting basename() declaration
Date: 23 Jun 2009 06:58:21 -0000

------- Additional Comments From ian at airs dot com 2009-06-23 06:58 -------
Can you look in the gold/config.log file for the test for the basename
declaration? In a working case, it looks something like this:

configure:6868: checking whether basename is declared
configure:6892: g++ -c -g -O2  conftest.cc >&5
configure:6898: $? = 0
configure:6902: test -z
                         || test ! -s conftest.err
configure:6905: $? = 0
configure:6908: test -s conftest.o
configure:6911: $? = 0
configure:6922: result: yes

In the failing case it should display the complete program that failed as well
as the compiler output. Please add that to a comment on this bug report.
Thanks.
