Last try from config.status is:
../configure'  '--host=x86_64-linux-gnu' '--build=x86_64-linux-gnu'
'--target=arm-linux-gnueabihf' '--prefix=/usr' '--enable-shared' '--e
nable-ld=default' '--enable-gold'
'--with-build-sysroot=/home/armDev/rasberry/flashRoot'

I did without the --with-build-sysroot also but got the same result. Direct
build without explicit --enable-gold le
