Similar to bug 14732, but for arm.

pr14265 fails for me when running with a gcc build with target
arm-linux-androideabi:
...
failed with: <>, expected: <>

failed with: <>, expected: <>
FAIL: --gc-sections with KEEP
...

Gcc build with target arm-linux-androideabi passes -fPIC by default. Adding
-fno-PIC to the cflags allows the test to pass.

Another way to reproduce the problem is to use an arm-linux-gnueabi gcc and add
-fPIC to the cflags.
