Hi,

I've enclosed two patches that fixes the issue. They have been tested in our
environment and no issues have been encountered so far.

The only problem left is the version. We didn't find a way to keep the backward
compatibility without changing the version, and we chose to add an arbitrary
offset, that is removed in GDB. A separate DWARF flag would be the best option.
