            Bug ID: 28886
           Summary: Configuration ns32k-unknown-netbsd is obsolete.
                    Support has been REMOVED.
           Product: binutils
           Version: 2.37
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: binutils
          Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
          Reporter: mliska at suse dot cz
  Target Milestone: ---

$ ../configure --build=x86_64-linux --disable-gdb --disable-gdbserver
--disable-sim --enable-obsolete --target=ns32k-netbsd
$ make

fails with:

checking whether strnlen is declared... yes
checking compiler support for hidden visibility... yes
checking linker --as-needed support... yes
checking for cos in -lm... yes
*** Configuration ns32k-unknown-netbsd is obsolete.
*** Support has been REMOVED.
make[1]: *** [Makefile:2977: configure-bfd] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/marxin/Programming/binutils/objdir'
make: *** [Makefile:999: all] Error 2

The error is misleading as it's noted that it's obsolete and the second line
tells it's removed.
