/usr/lib/gcc/i586-suse-linux/13/../../../../i586-suse-linux/bin/ld: warning: -z
--no-keep-memory ignored

but it worked and didn't blow up memory anymore.... The same result is if I
don't have this option there at all.

So it seems the combination of --no-keep-memory and -z pack-relative-relocs is
the problem here?
