Sticky Date Problem

Hi,

I've removed several files, then removed them from CVS and tried to
commit.

Now I get the message:
...

cvs server: cannot commit with sticky date for file `UserProfile.java'
cvs server: cannot commit with sticky date for file `WeeklyPlan.java'
cvs [server aborted]: correct above errors first!

But I can't fix the sticky date problem because the files are removed.  I
tried: cvs update -A, and I tried putting the files back and then doing:
cvs update -A, but to no avail.

Help would be much appreciated!
