My apache error log was bloated to 2GB today by cvsweb hitting this bug.

Basic info:

root@chain> cvs --version

Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.2 (client/server)

Debian, unstable tree, using the Debian cvs package.

Here's how you reproduce:

> cvs pserver
<enter anything>
^c
<return>

At this point, you will be spammed with an infinite amount of lines like
this:

cvs: buffer.c:1370: stdio_buffer_shutdown: Assertion `fstat ( fileno (bc->fp),
&s ) != -1' failed.

kill -9 must be used to stop it.

Any more information you need is available upon request.

-Robin
