CVS commit - bug ?

Hi,

I have a file (test.pl) with the following lines.

#   Check("$Name:$PVCNo");

After I checkin this file the content becomes like this


########################################################
#   Check("$Name:  $PVCNo");

                 ^
                 |
                 Extra space.


What is wrong with my file ?
