opensshd cvs solaris issue

when using the openssh sshd on solaris 9 with 

        UsePrivilegeSeparation yes 

cvs will freeze using :ext: method connecting with ssh. switching off
UsePrivilegeSeparation will fix this problem. i think this is a bug in
cvs, so i am posting this to you. i also couldn't find anything like
this in your bugdb.

os and versions

uname -a
SunOS mozart 5.9 Generic_113184-01 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-4

ssh -V (same version for sshd)
OpenSSH_3.5p1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090701f
