How much information do you want in it? I attached a script to issue #3 <http://ccvs.cvshome.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=3> from the mtools project which does something like this based on simple tags in texinfo comments which cause it to slurp whole sections of the texinfo manual and turn it into a man page. All that is really required at this point is probably tagging the correct nodes and tweaking the script.

There are some notes on that issue about help2man, but I think that wouldn't be as complete - I believe all the usages are in cvs.texinfo in some fairly concise form in addition to the pages of explanation.

I still think about this once in a while. It just never seems as urgent as the other things I have going. If anyone else wants to take a shot at it, they can feel free. Otherwise I'll probably get to it eventually.
