Okay.  It works properly on my system (breaks with 1.11.5 and works with 
the TRUNK CVS) and it's ready to commit.  I didn't bother to run the 
whole test suite.  I just ran it `-f rdiff2' to make sure it cleaned up 
properly.

I'll wait for your commit though.
