I sent it as a patch to my patch, because there was a
separate reason for the change.

It is info for computers.  :-)  Humans can read the first bit, very
clear.

I was going to suggest you include the old ...
'... not included in release tag tag4'
as well, but looking at the other messages, none of the others
mention tags in the message.

Perhaps just "obsolete revision 1.2"?  Mirroring added ones?
