assertion fault. on loggin |

Whe have used cvs from one year, with a Windows Client and a AIX server with
pserver connection.
Now we want to use it with an AIX client.
When the client and server is the same machine (useful for batch), pserver
connection returns sometimes this error :
cvs login
Le sous-programme assert a ÚchouÚ : fstat ( fileno (bc->fp), &s ) != -1, fichier
/u/scjones/cvs-nightly/src/buffer.c, ligne 1384
cvs-1.11.5-AIX [login aborted]: received abort signal
"sometimes" because it occures 90% of time with cvs 1.11.5, 30% of the time
with cvs 1.11.6, 25% with cvs 1.11.5 if there is a TCP/IP listenner on the
server.
TCP/IP packets show that's all is alright until server responds 'I LOVE YOU'
then :
or the client send an <FIN | ACK> packet and login ends well.
or the SERVER send an <FIN | ACK> packet and client raise the assert.
I thought pserver was more reliable than local access to repository but perhaps
I'm wrong
Thank you.
