Can CVS run on HP-UX 11.23?

Hi Guys,
 
We are planning to use CVS on our new HP Superdome Itanium-2 machine.
Our OS is HP-UX 11.23. My questions would be:
 
1.      What CVS version should I run or install?
2.      Will CVS work on our machine?
