hi,
I used to access some repository, which was in a debian sarge system,
from a Winodws machine via cvs.exe and plink.exe. But when I upgrade
my cvs from 1.12.8 to 1.12.11 and 1.12.12, It doesn't work. After I
issue any cvs commands it, it will abort and show something like this:
--8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8---
D:\FKtPp\TempDocs\BadGirl>cvs status
cvs [status aborted]: reading from server: No such file or directory
D:\FKtPp\TempDocs\BadGirl>Unable to write to standard output
D:\FKtPp\TempDocs\BadGirl>
--8<---------------cut here---------------end--------------->8---
Same setting, 1.11.* series works well.
BTW, if I use the :pserver: method instead of :ext: method, then
everything is okay.
This problem only occur when use 1.12.1 or 1.12.12 version of win32
binary use :ext: method to access remote repository. serverside
version is debian official 1.12.9.
- win32 binary feature version 1.12.11/12 and up :ext: method doesn't work,
