WE CAN'T FIX THE PROBLEM.
Yes we can. The problem that needs to be fixed is a problem in using
cvs with ssh in use for communication to the repository.
If ssh runs into trouble in other scenarios, people can report that to
developers of various ssh programs, and maybe they will decide to fix
it. But I am not sure if these other scenarios occur enough to
matter in practice.
